The atelier house in the south of Karpathos. My house and houses of friends are in short distance. Internet access only over your mobile or the internetcafe next village.
Guest artists bear the rest of their costs for travelling, food, health, etc.. Motorbikes are to rent and Taxis drive for reasonable prices. Artists can be invited between middle of april until middle of june or beginning of september until end of october. Rest of the year its for the family.
Since 2000 I invite artists, while I am here on Karpathos. My contribution is a small and simple house about 500 m from the sea, to stay there for free for two or three weeks. Artists can use this time for studies and are asked to contribute an ephemeral or lasting artwork to the present artproject, meant to remain on Karpathos.
