Works for S.I.N.N. shall be done in spirit of the place and with an understanding of ecologically sustainable artforms. The whole island of Karpathos, its history, flora and fauna, remarkable weather, people and their knowledge, or the landscape at my house there: one may refer to it, directly or indirectly. The human spirit is free, realisations in any artistic media are possible. Preferably materials and ressources (craftsmen and shops) existing on the island shall be used, or appropriate tools and materials brought by the visitors. The artwork shall be documented useful for a S.I.N.N. exhibition, for a future catalogue and for this website. Presentations of the project in different cities may follow. |
